We recognize the important role communities and businesses play in Americans’ everyday lives. From creating jobs and fueling lives to making our communities the unique places we have come to know, the role we play together has never been clearer. And it is also clear that doing business today requires new ways of operating that prioritize the health and safety of employees, communities, customers and all those we support.

 



Here are some of our new procedures and guidelines during this COVID-19 pandemic:

Drama Masks and Social Distancing:

Because of the personal nature of our craft (photography), face masks will not be required at this time for anyone participating in the portraits.  If you and your family would like to wear mask in between poses, locations, and standing time we highly encourage you to do so.

Our photographers and staff will do our best to maintain the social distancing and using no-touch posing method when at all possible, until further notice is received from the CDC and other health officials.  If anything needs to be adjusted for you; i.e. tie, necklace, collar etc., a mirror will be held up for you to adjust accordingly to maintain our no-touch posing policy.

Daily calendar Appointments:

As usual we are only open by appointment only.  All sessions must be scheduled and confirmed by both phone and e-mail to be considered valid.  

To help protect you, your family, the photographers and staff of Mommy and Me Portrait Studios, other clients, and to do our part to slow down the spread of COVID-19, all participants should do a self-check before leaving home.   At this time, a “COVID-19 Notice and Waiver” must be signed and dated before every appointment.  This waiver is filled out on behalf of all participants.

At this time in the studio, we are only allowing a family that resides in the same household for sessions. Extended family (family members from a different household) can be considered if it is an outdoor session. As per Mommy and Me Portrait Studios policy for all sessions, only those who are participating in the portrait session will be allowed at each appointment.  

Thermometer Symptoms:

If you've had symptoms in the last 24 hours, including a dry cough, fever, shortness of breath, or any other flu-like symptoms, we cannot keep your appointment. Please call and we will reschedule you for a minimum of 2 weeks from the end of symptoms.  We will wave your rescheduling fee for COVID-19 cases. 

A self-check includes:

  • Taking temperature and ensuring it is below 100.4 degrees Fahrenheit

  • Checking for dry cough, shortness of breath, loss of taste or smell and other like symptoms

            

Mop and bucket Sanitation Protocols:

Any and all cleaners used will be CDC approved and a sanitation checklist will be completed before any and all client appointments

Standard sanitation protocols prior to each client will include but not be limited to:

  • Washing hands regularly before and after photographic sessions

  • Sanitation of all props, chairs, benches with which a client may come into contact

  • Sanitation of restroom/dressing facilities

  • Sanitation of common high touch areas, including doorknobs (interior and exterior), counter tops, pens and pencils, tablets and monitors

  • Removal of unnecessary paper products or décor (pre-used magazines, newspapers, extraneous sales materials)

  • Fresh towels and linens will be ready for each client/family

As we are doing our best to protect you and your family, we ask that you do the same for our staff, other clients and families.  We will have hand sanitizer available for staff and clients use along with a regularly sanitized restroom with soap and fresh towels.  Please consider these steps; frequently hand washing, avoid excessive touching of face, covering mouth while coughing or sneezing, and stay home when any symptoms arise in order to help stop the spread of illness.
